what the heck is going on here

I think it's one of my snails why would it be doing this? It's out of its shell and spewing white stuff into the tank

It is supposed to have no shell, you most likely got it as a hitchhiker. Awesome member of CuC.

Stoms do have shells theyre just small. And yes they stand right up and let it flow!
