What do I do?Have any dosing pumps that may have stuck on?
Crap, that’s not good. I would start preparing a couple of large WC’s. Don’t go hog wild though and reduce it to fast since that can be equally as bad.Holy my God Jesus noooo.
I just checked an all my alk emptied into the tank. I have no idea how that could've happened
I'm preparing a 25% water change now and can maybe manage another 10 gallons or so to do tonight. I use instant ocean, so the alk is pretty high... Im going to test my alk level right now and reassess what needs to be done.Crap, that’s not good. I would start preparing a couple of large WC’s. Wow, that is pretty high! I think we better call in the big guns for this...., @ReefSquadWhelp. Hanna Checker says it's over 20
I was thinking this... But I have too many things going on to be testing the ph now as well. I'm running to the store for water and salt because I'm about to run out. When I get home I'll do another water change and just hope for the best. It's too many moving parts for me to do single handedly at the momentWHITE VINEGAR!!!!!
Start dosing it while you do water changes!!
Okay, so i did 2 20 gallon water changes in my 40 gal tank. Alk came down to 11.2I had the same thing happen when I was running a kalk stirrer.
Water changes. White vinegar. Didn’t loose anything luckily. Good luck
