Noticed this hazy white cloud-lookin thing growing at the base of my blasto. Seems to be growing fast. I think it might be a sponge or something? I included some pictures. Does anyone know what it is, if it’s bad, and how the heck to get rid of it? Thanks for the help!

Yeah looks like some kind off sponge and general consensus is if doesnt have negative impact on coral then leave alone as no harm but if starts choking coral then pick/peel off which I've just easily peeled/lifted some off on few occasions, have seen a reef builders article reading why they think sponges are bad in reef tank ,went something like they use up the sane things corals need to grow, can easily find article if you want read it

Agreed with the above - it’s a sponge. If it gets too invasive or starts overgrowing the coral, you can usually trim them back easily enough.
