Was picking bryopsis from a few remaining plugs and found this this rolled up on one side of a zoa plug...it came off in 2 pieces...never seen this before...i dont think its alive...its not moving...heheh

Hmmm only inverts we have in tank is...snails, nudibranches, ghost shrimp, and emerald crabs
 
I would be looking over your zoa for a predatory snail or nudi.... probably more nudi as the sack seems very clear.
 
It looks like a piece of spaghetti noodle that broke into 2 pieces when i removed it off the zoa plug...didn't see anymore on the other zoa plugs
 
Their eggs masses remind me of clear toothpaste and it very indicative for nudis.

Hmmm didnt look like that on the zoa.
Looked more like a clear snake coiled up on the zoa

There are many different kinds of critters that lay eggs that look like a "snake coiled up". Either way, keep your eye open for nasties on your new Zoa as well as previous Zoas. Best to check with a flashlight after lights out when the Zoas are closed up.
