What the heck is this?!! So I purchased a bubble tip from my lfs today. It wouldn't budge off the rock so they gave me the rock and said, "just put this in your tank and he'll eventually come off". I took the rock but didn't like that idea so when I got home, I took an ice cube and put it against the base of the anemone until it finally freed itself.

Good news is the rock also had 2 snails on it which I put in the tank

Anyway, I put the piece of rock in my utility sink to dry. I go in the fish room, lift it out to dump skimmer water and this hitchhiker was underneath!! He was inside the rock and I could have entered him into my tank. What is it? Good? Bad? Kill it with fire??

Looks to be a bristle worm. A lot of reefers like them as part of the clean up crew but me personally, I hate them and don't trust worms. Whatever you decide just don't touch it.
