what the heck is this!

I was sitting watching the tank for about 30 min and out of the corner of my eye I saw what appeared to be a puff of smoke rise from the side of the tank. Looked over and something was emitting a hazy cloud of something into the water. I thought it was my echinata but then i saw this slug critter on the rock blowing it out and thought what the heck is that! Does anyone know what this is!

I can’t watch the video right now, but based off of the description I’m guessing stomatella snail. It’s just spawning. Great algae eater and reef safe

Not totally sure but my guess is a Stomatella snail and its spawning? Someone else will probably know for sure...

I thought it something crazy that was gonna wreak havoc!
Im pretty sure i saw it a few months ago and asked here what it was but it was tiny and wasn't blowing anything out. Man that thing got BIG!

I have one too! I named him sluggy, he came in on my rock and survived my ranks cycle and crash.
