What the heck is this?!

Guys, I was scanning my tank this AM while it was dark and saw this thing at the base of my blasto. Pretty sure it wasnt there at least two days ago. Nice plump round disk-y looking. Doesnt seem to move. Blasto is growing a new head just abive it, so I am not sure if this is just a sign of blasto expanding or whether this is harmful. Left it on for now, but please share your thoughts/recommendation as soon as you can. Many thanks, guys.

awesome, thanks, guys, - phew. I will leave it as is then, it is starts to bother my blasto, I will remove.

Well, guys. What a turn of events. Came home, saw my blasto completely closed. Figured, sponge or else, it has to go since its bugging my blasto. Guess what. Took a scalpel, the shell was super hard, like a clam (looks oike one upclose too). I had to pry it with slight force to remove it from the blasto trunk. Flipped him upside down, it looks like a half clam shell. The stuff inside is alive, consistency is just like a snail, but, seemed to have 2 soft pinchers, visible in pic below. Long story short, don’t know what it is, given blastos reaction and how attached it was, must have been eating it, so its in a trash can now.
