Vermetid snails tend to have more of a spiral shape tube and will release slime that irritates corals.......have you seen anything like that?

The tube looks more like a duster tube to me but that could be because it’s on the bottom of the frag.

Peanut snail. Put a drop of superglue on the end, and that will be that.

+ 1 vermitid. Could cut off the plug with some bone cutters or sidecut pliers. Heck just cut the stem of the plug and pitch it.
