So I couldn’t sleep tonight and I was peeking in my tank with a flashlight and came across this.

I don’t know what this is and I hope someone can ID this animal.

I can’t see the video but from the pattern, looks like a polyclad flatworm.
 
in the video looks and moves like octopus but def not

Thanks everyone! I tossed it when I woke up this morning. After 5 hours sitting on the counter with no water, this thing was still alive! Wow.

I’ve kept sea hares before. Great eaters but so ugly. They will smother zoas. Never again.

I've only ever seen them in the wild (in southern Japan). They were bigger than softballs! And yea, not overly cute... but interesting in a reef kinda way...

Maybe there's a variety that doesn't touch zoas? The video mentions they are great for hair algae.
 
Looks like acro eating flatworm.
If in doubt- chuck it out- not ti be trusted. Hopefully it was an Only one. Kuddos for posting a clear photo
