What the heck is this?

Suddendly this night i started seeing these guys swimming around, this is a small one but there are ones around 5mm with two big eyes, they also swim quite fast. But given the size of those it seems quite incredible that they appeared out of the blue.

It almost looks like brine shrimp but why would they appear out of the blue in my aquarium and get to that size?

That's what i thought, i wasn't sure because of the eyes
 
From what I've read they are free swimming when larvae. Part of the plankton bunch. As they mature, they settle to the bottom and live as worms.
This explains how they end up in every tank
