I’m just curious on this spot that is on my hippo tang. I thought is was ick back when I got it last year because it was infected with something that has pretty much went away except for this one spot above it’s eye. Not sure if it’s a defect, wound or some disease. Need help figuring out what it could be and what can I do to make it go away. I don’t wanna take it out of the tank to treat it and have it stressed out. It seems to be doing fine otherwise. Everything else in the tank is fine. I have had all my fish for a good while now so......help please.

If you’re worried about it just up his diet to include Nori, Garlic, etc if not doing that already.

It been there for awhile, I got it back in March 2018. The spot has kinda always been there since not as dark though. Every time I sit to admire my tank I see it and wonder what it is. Is there some vitamins or antibacteria meds I can give it. I already feed it nori and some foods with garlic. If it is HLLE can I cure it?

Wear spot.
Mine has the exact same type of spot in the exact same place.
I wouldn’t worry.
