What the heck? Who kills zoas?!?

Here are my very first corals- a plug of mixed zoas, and a trumpet. The zoas have never been happy; they weren't even fully open at the LFS. Before putting them in QT, I did a Bayer dip to to take care of any obvious trouble. After several days, I decided to scrape off the bubble algae that was mixed in with them in case that was what was irritating them, after which I did a lugol's iodide dip. Since the dip four days ago, they've been like this. I've moved them further down in the tank, thinking that the light was maybe too strong. I've moved the small powerhead around to see if they preferred direct or indirect flow, and done two water changes three days apart. What am I doing wrong? Even the trumpet coral is less fluffy and more ribby than it used to. Doing wrong by my first corals is not a very auspicious beginning! At the bottom are a couple of pics form when I first got them, so you can see the regression.

Your calcium lever should be at least 400. What kit are you testing with?

Sorry for the delayed response- life happened. I retested calcium this morning, and apparently the 80 was a user error. This morning it was 500. Do any of these parameters toss up a red flag for why my corals are hating life?
