Are they in your sump? Might be pineapple sponge but the picture is pretty blurry.

Looks like it might be tunicates but that pic is pretty bad.

Hard to tell by pic, but based on shape, location, and color, I'd say pineapple sponges

I have a seachem 75 HOB filter on a 40 breeder and yes they are in the filter itself on the back of tank behind the "overflow" part. They are smooth looking.
