I was over at my friends tonight checking on my aquarium and decided to do some landscaping. I decided to move some of my live rock around so that my mandarin had access to areas of the rock that he couldn’t get tombefore. I’m having a hard time finding the frozen food he eats so I wanted him to get to some pods that he could get to before. I move some rubble rock and saw some flat worm like critters that looked kinda like fletcher bristle worms. I move the big rock and found a big one. Tried to pick him off the rock with tweezers but he was stuck pretty good and I was afraid that if he touched me I’d drop the rock and crack the tank. Lol. Anyway I looked at the hitchhiker guide and still couldn’t figure out what these guys were. I have attached a picture. Please let me know what y’all think. If good guys I’ll leave alone. If not I’ll go dig around and try to get them out of the tank. Thanks in advance.

Looks like bristle worms to me. I am more worried about your mandarin. If you need help with that. Let me know and pm me.
These guys are flatter and fatter that’s the other bristle worms in my tank. The one I couldn’t get of the rock was really wide and fat. Very creepy. Lol

Agree looks like a couple chunky bristles. I have quite a few of those and while ugly they’re pretty harmless and very useful! (They help my overfeeding problem from crashing my tanks:)

I’m fine with them being in my tank as long as they don’t hurt my fish or eat my copepods Ill leave them be.
