Okay...I have a question for anyone super familiar with Sun Coral/Tubastrea. I've had Sun Coral in the past and love it but, I had the yellow variety. With this reef tank I ended up going with the Orange variety and he's awesome however, he's doing something I've NEVER seen one do. He has a plate on the bottom that opens and closes as he wishes. I can take video later if needed but, what the heck?! I've never seen them move like that. My last Sun Coral propagated in my tank he was so happy but, never did I see anything like this. Someone suggested maybe it grew on a clam but the underside seems smooth and flat-ish. Almost a little concave.

Haha I have one too! And... 3 other hitch hikers on my goniopora...

Yellow: Oyster thingy
Red: Peanut worm
Green/Purple: Feather dusters (there are more on the other side  )

At this point this is just a combo rock of some sort..
