Yep I may be off here. Ive had them plump up like that out of water.

they are in my chaeto in my refugium atm, they dont seem to be anywhere else yet. They are fat like the photos show in the chaeto. I will research scaleworm and see what i need to do. Thanks for the info

I vote scrunched up bristle worm. Touch it with a toothpick and if it puffs out spikes you have confirmation.

Looks like a Polynoidae worm. I would remove it now since you have it. Who knows what kind of monster that will grow into later down the road and start eating your fish.
