Some sort of hydroid would be my best guess...i'm probably wrong. But looks interesting

I'd bet cucumber. It's hanging on to the root with its mouth. Looks like it's surrounded with tentacles

I think hydroids attach from the other end. Perhaps a baby peanut worm..

A baby Medusa Worm is my guess.

That's what it looks like to me, as well.

"Medusa worms" are a long, slender variety of sea cucumber, and a fine member of your cleanup crew - so long as they don't feel stressed out!

OK well now that I know what it is I now clearly know where it came from. I added a sponge to my refugium and with sponges come these guys.

Although attractive to look at, you should resist any urge to purchase a species of Synaptula because most feed by mopping tiny particles of organic detritus and secretions from the surface of living sponges.
