What the????

I have lost 4 fish in the last 24 hours. My Sohal is next but I threw him in a freshwater dip just in case...what’s this??

Internal parasite, but I suspect something more sinister is taking out your other fish so quickly... what symptoms have the fish had that passed? Flashing, swimming into flow, heavy breathing, any spots or discolored patches, etc?

Losing coloration, rapid breathing , weakness, my mimic had brownish spots(which seem to be getting better) my crosshatch male has been darting, ich on some but I’m thinking stress related from whatever else is going on. White in the belly area. Red gills.

I don't think it's velvet. Not 100% sure. Was the 'worm' moving at the bottom when it released itself? The deaths happened very quickly. Too quick. Bacterial? Were are the fish bought at the same time? How old were these guys?

My next thought is poison. Was anything used in the house or around the house?

I think the worm was just coincidence.
