WHAT THECK IS THIS!?

So I’ve had my tank running for about 10 months now. As I was cleaning my protein skimmer I noticed these little white blobs that I have never seen before. Then when I took the top of the skimmer I saw this thing. It seems to be what all the blobs are going to grow into. Is it good? Is it bad? Should I be scared??? Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!!

I see people every day posting their surprise about a new hitchhiker, that ends up being a pineapple sponge or other useful critter. Meanwhile here I am everyday going "oh look. More bristle worms" or "Is that another *$% Aiptasia!? Grrr". At least I have my upside down jellyfish polyps...
