what time does your melanurus wrasse go to sleep

just wondering around what time your melanurus wrasse disappear and presumably go to sleep.
my melanurus is out and about a few minutes after light comes on at 6am, and swims around till around 2pm and then disappears and not to be seen again till the following day.

Mine used to go to bed about an hour before the lights turned off on the tank, usually at the start of the ramp down sequence. I left to go to work before he got up so I never knew exactly when you could expect to see him.

Mine buries himself anytime between 6 and 7:30 PM (lights go off at 9).
As for when he gets up; hard to say. Lights start coming on at 10AM and I think he likes to lurk in the rock work and caves before starting to swim around, usually around 11Am

It kind of depends. How long has he been in your tank? Might still be used to a different schedule if not for long. Mine will go to bed about 1am, lights off at 2. I've seen him up later some nights as well though.

I've had him for maybe two months now and is the newest fish in the tank, so may still be getting used to the new environment.
pretty much all fish follow me around when I walk around the tank, except for the melanurus.
my light ramps up from 6am to 10am, then ramps down from 4 to 8pm. I suppose the wrasse is out about 7-8 hours. Maybe I'll try delaying the ramp up so I can still see him when I get home at 3pm. All other fish hide closer to 8pm.
