I have a innovative marine 40 gallon AIO tank it's been running about a year and a half. Need some advice and what I should dose I don't have roomuch for anyou reactors since the sumphone in three back is so small

Hi,

My answer will depend on what your goals are. :)

Are you looking to create an ULNS?
Are you looking for coral specific foods?
Are you looking for Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium supplements?

I'm looking to have low nutrient system that's my main goal.
Second is to have my corals nice and healthy

chemistry and automation programm from Mr. Saltwater tank
Can probably help you with a lot of your answers, wether you're a beginner or a reef junky!
But for the most part you want to dose Magnesium, alkalinity and calcium. Keep the parameters stable and test each level daily till you figure out how much your tank consumes.

To start off, I recommend the Balling Light method which consists of Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium supplements.

These products are in a powdered form and are mixed separately into 1 gallon containers. They are pure pharmaceutical grade salts with buffers and trace elements. More information about these products can be found here:

As DonTavo27 mentioned, you will want to test often until you find out the amounts that your tank needs to keep parameters stable.

I'll check it out I already check those levels on a daily basis and they are all high my Alk is a bit too high I use Red Sea coral pro salt I have a bunch of frags and a birdnest colony so it's not like they are sucking those nutrients dry

Once those levels are reduced, you can begin the Balling Light method by starting with minimal amounts and steadily increase until you've reached the amount your corals need.
