What to clean glass tops with?

My new tank has glass lids/covers on top but are covered with a white stain. I assume calcium residual. Tried CLRand it got like 90% but when they dry there is still white looking spots on the glass. Any ideas?

Soak them in a bucket with vinegar. It takes time to remove though.

Vinegar or a lemon. Cut a lemon in half rub it on the glass.

I used to have glass covers and I just dropped them in a tote with vinegar for about an hour and then scrubbed them off. Did this once a month to keep them nice and clean
