I live in Florida where it rains twice a day thunders at night and I pray my tank don’t even blink to to turn off I have it connected to two power surge but don’t think that’s enough o_O what do you guys do in case power goes out? Literally when it thunders at night can’t sleep but not cuz of the thunder but imagine waking up next to a clownfish and a Recordea and few Herman crabs

hi battery back up for main pump,2nd battery op air pump, for oxygen ;)

I think a backup power plan should be required equipment on a reef tank.

1. An automatic solution like a battery backup or generator.
2. If above was not a long term a manual long term solution like a generator.
