When your water quality is exactly where you want again and again, what do you guy do?

I've fragged, added new frags, cleaned the sump, I love spending my free time on my reef but it doesn't need me.

Is this when people start a second tank?

I sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Depending on the type of reefer you are. If you want the headache and excitement of starting a new tank, then go for it. If you like to keep calm and reef on, then sit back and enjoy.

You basically start fiddling with things that don’t need fiddling with, or you get a monster tank to occupy yourself like I’ve done! Lol
This is what I'm thinking, especially when looking at Hedgedrew's 17k gallon.

You treasure those moments! When mine are "stable & running smoothly" I start looking over my inventory of gear that's going to need maintenance/replacement in the future & build a wish list. Or research food and additives that might improve and/or help me maintain the stability. Also I've been contemplating a fish only tank for species that are not reef safe, it's just "do I want another set of ATO,skimmer, sump, etc,,"

This reminds me. Time to eenie-meenie-minee-mo some additive from the pet fridge to randomly pour in my tank

Usually do self sabotage accidently. I have the constant need to fidget. I think that's who I'm going to start second tank. Mangrove build in a nuvo 10

Good idea a clear out of old gear ready to be replace could scratch my reefing itch

I never understood the need to be tinkering with a tank when none is needed. To me it's all about viewing and enjoying the incredible and sometimes mysterious inhabitants inside.
