What to Do With Dead Polyps

Hi all - I purchased this Zoa colony from my LFS last Sunday. Some of the polyps still haven’t opened and there’s a spot not visible in the photo that has a touch of brown coloration to it. Is that just decaying dead polyps that may be the victim of heavy handling and should I remove those that still haven’t opened? My parameters are (before dosing this AM)
Temp - 77° F
Salinity 1.025
PH - 8.35
KH - 10.5
Ca - 420
Mg - 1200
Nitrates - ~0
Ammonia - 0

I would let them be

NItrates 0, Zoas don't like them at all. Zoas like 5 or more.
