What to do with "extra" RODI canisters?

So I pulled out my old Kent Maxima RODI unit after 12 years in storage and found that one of the housings snapped in the threads and is not repairable. I also don't think I can replace the membrane any more so I will just get a new unit.

So I was thinking about what to do with the other components that are still good. The rack, 2 good canisters, additional free standing canister and all of the fittings.

Could just use these for additional stages to the new RODI.

What about additional mechanical filtration or fluidized reactors?

You answer your own question perfectly!
Fluidized reactor would probably need some modification, but carbon no problemo!

I added them as extra stages to my existing rodi filter.
If you were looking to buy a new rodi filter I would just use them to buy a unit with less stages (cheaper) and add them to get the number of stages you actually want.

Or if the only thing wrong with your current filter is the housing threads broke off in the unit I would just buy a single canister and not replace the whole thing.

The membrane housing is odd. I am not sure I can get a new one.

If I do them as fluidized reactors should I increase the water line size for more flow through them?
