Picked up this green Favia a couple weeks ago. I’ve moved him a couple of times. First had him high and now low with a little shade. Can’t tell if it’s doing ok or not. It’s not quite as consistently green as it was when I got it. Should I just leave him?

Id let it chill for a while and see what happens its probably a bit ticked off had similar things happen with softies being mad after being shoved around by the tank dozer.

I like to start them off closer to the bottom of the tank for acclimating with medium flow. I was able to bring back this bleached favia with just lights (~150 PAR) and stable parameters in ~3 months. You could probably see a bit more growth if you feed it at night when the feeder tentacles are out but imo it's only worth it if you don't pollute your tank.
