Hey all, so I got my hands on a brand new in box fluval AquaClear 70. A friend that's in the army is getting stationed overseas and is getting rid of most his stuff and had this in the closet and gave it to me. My 75gal fish only tank has been running with fish for the past 3 weeks and is doing good. I'm using a biomaster Thermo 600 canister filter (I know, I know) running into a chaeto tank and back into the main display and it is working fine so far. All my parameters are stable and the tank/fish look healthy and happy. Would there be anyway to usefully employ this fluval into the tank mix? If so how should I use it/put in it? Pic is the one he gave me.

^ that. I have some 110s left over from my freshwater days. One is currently running on a 40g breeder where I store rock. I also ran one as the only filter on a hospital tank, a 100 gallon stock tank when my fish were removed from the display to treat for velvet. Pick up some extra sponges and seed them and you have an instant filter for a qt or hospital tank. They can also be mini fuges on a nano. Lots of uses.
