What to do with salt water?

I have had a freshwater setup for years and I loved being able to use the water on my lawn and garden. Is there anything that saltwater is good for? I'm in California and with the drought I would like to reuse the water if at all possible. Thanks in advance.

Killing weeds and grass. I pour my saltwater in this one spot on the edge of my driveway. Nothing grows here anymore

You could stick it in a brute tub outside with a lid and harvest the condensation to water with? Would need to clean out the left over salt now and then.

If you have enough to be worth the trouble build a solar evaporator you can make distilled water using the sun and then use that water on plants. Simply a tray you pour water into and a clear plastic film cover to collect the moisture and funnel it into a container for reuse. The salt will remain in the tray and you can scrape it out and use as a herbicide if you wish.

Do you guys have any pics or links for those ideas? I like the ideas it will be much more fulfilling if its not wasteful. I have a 200 gallon dt and I'm dumping 25-40 gallons of water every other week with water changes.
