I thought it was a good idea ok? I was new, don't judge me lol. So I have this rock of growing GSP on the top of my rockscape. Before if attaches to the rocks below it, any suggestions? Besides burn it lol. I actually love GSP but it's a weed basically. Will it grow on top of my zoas? Or my mushrooms? Anything I can place under it that will stop it from growing? Sting it? Or will I have to move the rock?

My hopes is to make as little a disruption to the rock work. I don't want things to tumble. None of my rocks are glued together, so they are being held together by the power of God lol

Thanks for reading :)

If you place the rock on the sandbed, you can easily cut back any GSP that tries to grow off the rock.

Mushrooms may manage to sting it back. Zoas will possibly get overwhelmed. If you could get some rock flower anemones to make a fence around it, they'd probably contain it.

It will grow over zoas. Only ones I have that kill it back are paly grandis and they kill literally anything that touches them. I’d cut it into pieces and sell it and keep a small piece you can isolate in the sand so it doesn’t spread.

I've tried to pull it back but it's literally stuck to the rock...wahhh...

Yep, corals do that. You can try to smother the edges with aquarium putty or similar. It'd peel off a smooth surface like glass, but in rock, it gets into all the little nooks and crannies and attaches in such a way that it can't generally be viably removed.
