What to do!

so I have this algae growing in my sump. More specifically only growing before my filter. No algae is growing anywhere else. I think let it grow what's your thoughts? it's been there for a few months I just cut it down when I replace my filter. My nitrate are 0 my ammonia 0. I got copodes in my sump.

it's basically an algae srubber right now. Just remove it whenever you think about it. Free nutrient export!
