My mantis jumped out of the tank. He hated the glass being cleaned. I pretty sure that he is brain damaged as much as a mantis can be. He lies there upside down. Curled up sometimes. Goes spastic daily would jump if no lid. Hasn’t eaten in days.

Euthanasia sounds like the best idea. Thoughts

He was doing so well. Got along with his mates. Maroon clown and BTA.

Hate when this happens.

If it is hiding all may not be lost. I thought you meant it was like upside down chilling out in the open.

They can endure this as they are exoskeleton constructed. Ive seen them fall. They are very tough. Allow it to settle without disturbing it

He is outside upside down frequently. Draped over a rock. Will spazz out if you touch him. Been a week now

My o. havanesis jumped 6 feet into hard wood floor, even left a dent in the spot it landed (struck the floor too).

She went back in lethargic, ripped off her own raptorial appendages (happens when damaged/overly stressed), and stayed healthy for many months afterwards.

Let nature take its course, not much else could be suggested.

Well after another jump during tank maintenance. I’m sorry to say my mantis has passed. He never recovered from the first jump and this one did him in.
