What to feed in frag tank ?

Setting up small 10gal QT tank right now just for corals.
New to this hobby so wondering what should I feed and how often for frags only tank, no fish.

Planning on following, probably no more than 10 frags at a time.
-hammer
-frogspawn
-torch
-scolymia
-favia
-acan

You could just sprinkle a few meaty flakes in week.

Target feed mysis or spirilina brine if you want, small amounts if you can.

Just be careful to not over feed the tank itself, they really do not need much...

For my 50 gallon frag tank, I throw in a sinking food disk, smaller than a penny, once a week. I am not home enough to target feed...

All of those listed can be pretty aggressive eaters IMO. I feed Mysis and brine shrimp weekly; sometimes LRS. I wait till night time, turn off all flow, and use a turkey baster to apply the food directly. This opposed to suspending it in moving water. A couple nassarius snails will clean up any leftovers.

When I think of a frag system, I just imagine it tied to a large display system where it benefits from larger bacterial colonies and nutrient consumption, perhaps the nutrient export of a refugium, skimmer and so on. When I think of QT, I think stand alone, dependent on water changes and mechanical filtration only, like a sponge filter. A small stand alone LPS frag tank might be a challenge, but no more than a pico I guess. Good luck.

Random thought-I give my fishies/frags fish eggs as treats every now and then. LPS looooooooves them-huge feeding response to them-but watch your skimmer, itll go crazy.
