Last night I added a juvi blue eye cole, a little lieutent and a little purple tang. They are out and about but they are not picking at the rocks. The rocks are covered in algae with bugs and worms hiding here and there.

I was thinking they should be fine for awhile just picking at the rocks but now I wonder if I need to feed them something else.
Any advice from experienced tang keepers?

I'm not an expert, but I keep nori in one of those grid-like holders all the time. My little tomini is always going after it. So does my foxface.

Both of them also go after the frozen food when I feed the rest of the tank.

veggie flake, small pellets, fresh spinach ,leaves only rubber banded to small piece of rubble on bottom of tank

Frozen mysis, spirulina mysis or spirulina brine shrimp. They are omnivores and need some meat in their diet. In my experience if you clip feed them all the time they won't graze very much. I only clip feed as a treat a couple times a week.
