Hey guys! So I have a 13.5 Gal nano with a couple of clowns, a couple of snails and some blue legged hermits. My question is whether I should feed my fish pellets or flakes? Is there a dramatic difference between the two? Are there pros and cons for both? Just curious as to what everybody thinks.

Howdy
Im a big believer in live foods. Next best thing is frozen. Pellets and flakes are high in nutrients and fish can live on them. One is not better than the other, as long as fish eat them. What they dont eat, over feeding, will foul your tank in a hurry.
If you feed your clown live food and they are a pair they will lay eggs about every 2 weeks

I would recommend reef nutrition or LRS reef frenzy, best foods on the market IMO. Reef nutrition makes high quality pellets called TDO chroma boost. Even if pellets contain more phosphate, you can control them a lot better during feeding with minimal waste compared to flakes. My wife had a 13.5 fluval so a little food goes a long way.

Thats the exact tank I have. I'll give the chroma boost a try, thanks!
