I have a swallow tail angel that doesnt seem interested in the plenty of garlic soaked foods ive offered and im all out of ideas. suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

foods offered: Mysis
Reef Frenzy from LRS
Angel Formula from Ocean Nutrition

Clam on the half shell works for most fish. For Genicanthus angels, maybe try some live brine shrimp just to get the feeding response started. Live black worms are enticing for most fish too.

How long has it been in the tank?

Shes been in this tank since saturday.

Oh ok, so not too long. I'd start with the clam and if that doesn't work, maybe attempt some of the live foods. Once they get something in their bellies, they are more likely to go after prepared foods.

Try seaweed/nori. Angels seem to start with greens and then go to meaty foods when they get transplanted.

Try foods without garlic; it’s mostly useless anyhow. G angels are planktonic eaters so mysis, live brine or black worms if you can find them.

Angels in that genus aren't algae eaters.

Keep trying mysis, brine, and other small meaty foods. I'm almost positive live brine would do the trick.
