Hi all,

Im looking at only keeping fish and soft corals. I have been mostly testing the water for the usual NH,NO2, NO3, PH etc... the basic test. I have also been testing for Calcium, Phos (though not recently as the kit sucks) and Magnesium.

Ive read magnesium is good for fish health. But is Calcium so important in a tank with no hard corals, i dont have?

What are the main things i should only need to test for in a fish and soft coral tank?

Cheers in advance

Calcium can be replenished by your water changes since you don't have SPS, LPS, or clams.
I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time :P haha

I would dose Iodine for the softies though. I do for mine :)
