Hello i am running a 60 gallon tank but running into all kinds of problems. I am using well water with 2 100 gallon per day RO Buddie with the DI but am still running into algae issues and po4 issues. I also run the BRS double canister GFO/Carbon reactor. What can I do to help out with the po4 issue?

i can not get the algae under control. Hair is what i am battling. I can clean everything and in 3 days its bad again. I have ecotech radions at 40 % 16 inches off the water. my tank is 8x3 and 6 inches deep. I run a very large reef octopus not sure what size but it came off a take that was 240 gallons.
What is your tap water TDS, RO only TDS and the final RO/DI TDS? How old are the RO/DI systems and how well have they been serviced meaning filter replacements and DI replacements? Do you have a recent water quality report for the well and what are the phosphate, nitrate and silicate levels?

Your RO/DI isn't working properly, TDS needs to be 0. You might need to change the filters or DI resin. If you have high CO2 in your water you might need to bubble the water for a few days before running it through the DI. Keep point is TDS needs to be 0...

ok so the water smells like sulfer out of tap after running through the ro/di it still has an odor but not as bad the tds reading in my bucket with bubbler is still over 100 all filter were just changed...
