Possibly a carpet anemone of some type?

This is a bleached carpet anemone. The way it’s settled on the rock suggests it could be Stichodactyla Gigantea. However, S. Haddoni is also a possibility but they generally like a sandbed (unless it is a very small one). Any chance you can take a pic under the oral disc? If it has dotted spots there then mostly likely it’s a Gigantea.

Do u mean the stem or the underside of the head this is the first time owning so not good with tech words

Good picture.
That’s a Haddoni carpet anemone. They like strong light and moderate flow. It will probably move down to the sandbed eventually. You can also try feeding it some mysis shrimp once or twice a week, which will help with color.
Good luck.
I had one over 3 years ago and this is where and how it settled:

OK great thanks also I have some spare rocks things growing on them one bit is grey slime with hairs will take pics later thank again

Hi my anemone seems to of sucked it's neck in is that normal?

Just curious how long has your tank been setup and running? Only reason I ask because I don't see any fish or corals.

Now regarding your anemone is definitely a "Stichodactyla haddoni" carpet anemone. Noticing that the mouth is closed and the foot is seeded is a very good sign. Now wait for her to color up!
To help heal your carpet anemone, I would recommend you get a pair of clarkii clownfish. The clarkia will feed and stimulate your haddoni. Regarding hand feeding. I wouldn't feed silverside there are boney and can harm your her. Some people like to feed with a turkey base into the mouth, that is a no no. Honestly, I never hand-fed my anemone's. Do you know of anyone hand-feeding anemones in the ocean? When you feed your tank some of that food will end up on the anemone. Good luck with her! Post pics when she color up!

Agree, bleached hadonni, should be at sand bed, and also agree silversides have been problematic for many anemone keepers.

Smaller foods like mysis take less energy to digest and do not add stress, and help regain health and color
