What type of algae, harmless or nuisance?

What type of algae is this? It doesn’t seem to be hair algae or a nuisance. Was hoping for purple coralline:/
Tank is only about 3 months old

I don’t know the exact name but think of it like the first steps before coralline. Very common with new tanks, it’ll go away

It won't brush off and it doesn't sway in the current, right. It's just like the rocks are turning green?
If so, good step in the right direction. They may change color once or twice more before going purple or pink

Glad to hear that! It doesn't brush off at all and definitely not long enough to sway. I actually don't mind the look of it either but I would prefer the pink/purple look. Hopefully not much longer!
