What type of algae is this?

70 gallon tank that finished cycle with a diatom bloom. A few days later I get this any ideas what it is? I have a fire shrimp, snail, conch, and blue/green chromis

Looks like the starting of your next stage of the ugly cycle, GHA nows the time to introduce a small tang if you plan on one. I would recommend a smaller one like a Tomi, Blue Eye Kole, or a Yellow Tang. Any one of them will keep it in check.

Yeah I agree but I have a red shrimp and I think it would eat it
 
Bristletooth Tangs, Urchins, some angels, etc.
 
Evening if your in same time zone.

Good question about parameters. Want to keep them in check to reduce the opportunity algae has to get a foot hold. The tangs are generally reef safe and the tomini as mentioned is one of the smaller ones that will work in your size. Also you may want yo add clean up crew to help control algae if you don’t have them.
