Thank you for the tank pics. In your case I think you are correct. The amount of algae die-off from treatment would crush your biome without a doubt.

Oh I tryed the treatments before I let it start growning only thing it did was kill a gorgonian so I changed tactics and shifted the end result of how the tank will be to incorporate it into the display and yes at this point if I did kill it all off it would definatly cause a crash but hey if my tanks happy so am i

One thing you could try is a Lettuce Nudibranch (Elysia crispata) are said to eat only bryopsis

Whatever peoples opinions are on dealing with it vs living with it... at least read through the bryopsis thread. Lots of people have found it helpful and had success treating it with fluconazole. There’s a good reason it’s a Sticky thread in the algae forum. As it looks like you have just the beginnings of an infestation... I would say it’s a very good option for you to try. I’ll link the thread again here

With bryopsis.... pull as much as you can by hand and then reduce white light intensity and treat with either FLUX (fluconasal) or liquid vibrant.
Cleaners. . . Have at least the following:
4- turbo snails
4 - astrea snails
3- trochus snails
3- nerite snails
6 blue leg hermits

Well i see why the guy at the pet show said he dont. Want to deal with and gave it to me for twenty bucks I just looked it up and he said Florida cerith snails will eat it i just happened to have to order from the order I got not too long ago some time back so i hope they will because i did not no it was going to be this bad when I do my water change I'm going to try to remove some by hand to omg i was not ready for this i only have 3.8 gallon tank im all ready dealing with this purple stuff but I looked it up it's more easier to remove I really like the zoa's I would hate to lose them this the first time and first tank i ever had any good luck.
