Hi

I am new to reefing. My saltwater tank is now 2 months old and I used live sand from caribsea as well as cured live rock from a friend who has a well established tank. I have been dealing with this algae 2 weeks now and it seems to get worse. I am however not pretty sure which algae this is and how to treat it.

Parameters:
Salinity: 1.025
Ph: 8.15
Kh: 9
Nitrate: 25ppm
Phosphate: 0.03
Nitrite: 0
Ammonia: 0

live stock: LPS and soft corals, 2 clownfish, 1 snail, 1 pistol shrimp.

There are tons of bubbles as well. especially on the corals.

There is a lot of life in the live rock. I have been seeing 4-5 brittle starfish and bristle worms and some mini shrimps

Here are some pictures. Please help me out.

Ask your friend how he dealt with it.
