What type of algae is this?

Thinking of getting an urchin to clean up all this algae but idk if he will eat this type. Thought about a black mollie as well. I’m in a fluval 13.5.

Hair algae pull it out

Green hair algae.
Check for high phosphate. Lower it to 0.05ppm
Reduce the white spectrum.
Brush off.
Consider Vibrant, that will weaken it.

Urchin are fine when there’s a ton of algae, but will,soon starve in a small tank.

Not looking to use any chemicals. I don’t use whites. I only turned it in for photos. I keep it on blue light for stock fluval 13.5
