What type of algae?

Hi everyone
I have seen some caulerpa for sale and i was wondering if caulerpa is a good algae for my fuge or not?
If not could you please recommend another macroalgae for my fuge?

Also another question - can macroalgae grow temporarily without a dedicted fuge light as there is loads - I mean LOADS of excess nutrients?

I like caulerpa but a lot of people prefer cheato any light will keep it alive but grow lights are not expensive.

Thank you - so i can just use a simple white LED for now at least?
also im gonna wait on the fuge till chaeto is available
