Green Hair Algae.
How much do you feed the tank vs. how many fish do you have?

Are you sure it's not bryprosis algea. I have been doing 25 percent water changes a week using carbon dosing so I barely have any nutrients and have been feeding the tank very little and every other day. I have 2 clowns and a pajama cardinal and a pair of green clown gobies.

It’s not bryopsis.

How many and what kind of snails do you have.

Phosphates can leach out of the live rock and feed the kind of growth you have on your rock, and your phosphates can test ~zero at the same time

People use different methods to control nutrients, refugium, algae turf scrubber, algae reactor, GFO are some of the most popular. These phosphate export/control methods are probably discussed in the links provided earlier. Be diligent and you will get rid of it. GL

I have 4 blue leg hermits no snails. And pristine water. I think it may be the algea is consuming the nutrients too fast. Can I use fluconazole?

You need snails. And a toothbrush.
gha can feed directly off of fish pee and ammonia.keeping low numbers doesn't not stop algae. It discourages it.
Your cuc is the #1 first defiense.

Oddly, I guessed you had no snails when I clicked this link.

I bought 2 snails and a emerald crab. It died for no reason after a 2 hour drip acclimation. Any idea why. The fish store I bought it from has half of the fish dead. Is that why. Otherwise my blue leg hermits and clowns are doing great. Should I consider getting another pump and buying the snails online. Also will fluconazole work?. Thanks for the help.

I’d look for turban or turbo snails. Ninja star snails. Stomatella snails.
Fluconazole is fine. Might work But you’ll have to use it every few months when the gha comes back.

I'll order them ASAP. Thanks for the help.

Could I consider a continuous low dose of the fluconazole to prevent any algea from growing back

If you don’t mind never having snails and crabs and filter feeders yes. No clue the other long term use problems you may encounter.
That’s my issue with products like vibrant. But it’s just my preference.
