So I am in need of some advice. I have a 135 gallon tank with the following fish:
Blue throat trigger
Yellow tang
Yellow coris wrasse
Midas blenny
Purple firefish
Mystery wrasse
Bangaii cardinal
2 clowns
Carpenters flasher

I am wanting some type of anthias for my tank to round out the stocking. I am interested in the lyretail, bartletts, and the sunburst fathead anthias. I know the fatheads only usually are one per tank and the others I can get a male and a couple females. So to the question. What anthias do y'all recommend and would adding them this late in stocking possibly put them at risk for being picked on? I already feed twice a day and am considering an auto feeder so I got their feeding needs taken care of.

Thanks for your help.

I'm a fan of the Lyretails. Fairly hardy and nice looking fish. QT the group all at once so you don't end up with fighters. It's always a risk adding new fish with established fish. Always hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

I had a male lyretail and he was awsome. The color was amazing and def was a nice addition. He was in a tank with a yellow tang 2 clowns and a halriquin tusk never had a issue

So I'm actually looking into the Carberryi Anthias now. Does anybody have any experiences with these? The only place I can find them is LiveAquaria and they don't specify male or female.

Love my 3 Bartlett's. Want to get some Lori's. Cause of their awesome name. :D

In my experience, the sunburst fathead likes lower light. If you're running lots of light, I wouldn't recommend them. For what it's worth, I just ordered 4 square back anthias and all 4 arrived DOA. Normally they ship pretty well, but aren't the easiest to keep in captivity. I guess lesson learned. Sorry, I have no experience with the Carberryi.

I have a pair of squareback, and now I wish I would have gone with the Lyretails. They are a bit less aggressive from what I have heard. My squarebacks are mean!
