what type of bam bams? orange?

Bam bams don't elongate like that. Bam bams are a much orange color as well. I would stop buying from this seller if he is lying to you (unless he also didn't know).

i agree with loki...they both look legit to me, they just need some major coloring up.

Those are in my tank. Im running two 175w halides and two 54 w t5 actinics. Both are in middle of tank. Should i move them higher or lower

It really depends on how deep your tank is. I would think they'll be fine, and color-up nicely where they are. Mine were near the bottom, under 8x54w overdriven T5 retro's.

If they are Bam Bam's, they will look like my pic above in a few months. They are my favorite zoa.

Its a 110. Its 30in deep. Will be upgrading to 250 watt bulbs very soon because of depth

Just give them some time to color up we have to remember nothing happens fast over night... Be patient and I am sure they will be what you paid for.

I'm thinking those are Bambams. You can see their slight "dome" shape (It is just hard to notice it because their tentacles are reaching up). Although washed out, the colors seem to match.

He had them under led then i put them under my halides about 2.5 weeks ago. Should i move them up higher or leave them be to see if they color up

I'd leave them there for a month at least. Then move up and leave for another month.

Here's a shot of my LA Lakers with my bam bams next to them. 20k 150w metal halide and 2 blue stunner strips is what I have on my tank.

Maybe give them another week or so, then move them up the rockwork a few inches. I'm sure they'll come around if they are Bam Bams.
