what type of conch is this

What species of conch is this? they are very fascinating cute little things for sure

Here is the shell. Also I find he is just as much climbing all over the rock and glass I even find him going along the top rim of the glass tank etc. is this normal? as I thought they mostly spend their time in the sand but this one certainly doesn't.

when they are young they can climb glass because their shell is lighter, but it looks like it's Strombus Lahuanus aka Tiger Conch.

they really are quite comical to watch and very fascinating it's one of my favourite things to have are they a threat to anything and anything a threat to them. Will halloween hermits go after them for their shell??
Also what's the strawberry conch like? is more than one conch in tank ok?

Strawberry and Tiger conchs are the same. True conchs of the genus Strombus are completely harmless and only eat algae, they can be kept together. and the hermit will most likely kill for their shell.

If you provide enough empty shells for hermits to test out, that's mostly on all hermit spieces, they will be less inclined to attack any snail for there shell, along with food supplement for hermits (don't just rely on them eating scraps)

yes I use crab cuisine alot for them and I imagine in terms of hermits killing conch wouldn't be likes of the smaller electric blue and left handed would it . it would be likes of the halloween hermits which use conch shells and I'm actually trying to get rid of my halloween as totally hate them they are so clumsy and destroyed a few of my frags climbing all over them constantly and knocking loose polyps off.
