Yea this is the second but no problem. I run a tunze 9410 dc, filter sock and thats it. Just 6 weeks ago setup my tunze 3171 carx. For me much better than 2 part. Run DSR trace.
Do a build thread when you can and I will follow. Not to many in my area that even believe I run a no water change system.

skimmer ,sock,sump full of rock?

High flow, oh no. Low flow especially new to the tank
I think a lot of people make the mistake of too low flow with euphyllia and they get an infection and die. They need proper flow to clean themselves of bacteria. I give all of my euphyllia moderate-high varied flow. In the wild, they get hit with lots of flow.

hi thanks

Judging by the pic, the tentacle length and structure lead me to think it may be a
“Frammer” Frogspawn-Hammer Hybrid.

If it is solely a frog it maybe due to age or possibly where it was cut from the mother colony that make the tentacles appear
shorter and fatter than most seen regularly.

However like other euphyllia subfamilies there are some differences between specimens collected in different areas and could be the case as well.
